Why Pivoines Conseil

Pivoines Conseil exists because contract management deserves better than what it usually gets. It is not a legal matter to be left to the lawyers, and it is not a stack of procedures. It is a way of running the business, day to day, with the contract in hand.

Contract management, in plain words

People think contract management is a matter for lawyers in suits: clauses and paperwork. Wrong. A contract is not signed to sleep in a drawer; it is signed to be lived. Who owes what, to whom, for how much, and what happens to whoever drags their feet. A contract forgotten is like an unloaded gun: the day it goes wrong, you are the one who pays. I keep contracts alive, dated, written down, shared. The rest is noise.

The Founder – a brief introduction

More than twenty years steering programmes and contracts in telecoms and business services. Working as a transition manager, I have led operational transformations, run major telecoms infrastructure projects, steered contracts with a great deal riding on them, and stood alongside contract management teams in environments where nothing was simple.

What we do today

  • I run diagnostics for organisations that want their contract management to grow up: where they stand, what to fix first, how to get it done
  • I train project managers and operational people to become contract managers
  • I roll out Contract Lifecycle Management tools, and AI applied to contract work
  • I host a French podcast, Portraits de Contract Managers, conversations with practitioners about how they got there
  • I write on LinkedIn, in French: what I see in the field, and what living systems can teach about contracts

What we believe

Practice first

A contract is lived, not just signed.

Evidence counts

Dated, written down, shared; otherwise it does not exist.

AI, used well, multiplies

AI multiplies what a contract manager can cover, once prompting and the GDPR are under control.

Nature has ideas for contracts

Nature has been solving contract problems for millions of years.

How to work together

Three ways in: Contract Diagnostics to find out where you stand, training (page in French) to bring your teams up to the role, or a straight conversation through the contact page.

Thirty minutes to understand your situation, no commitment.
